SUMMER TRAINING SESSIONS 2022

Grades 1st-8th

w/ Coach Mike Mays

The focus of the program is strength, speed, and flexibility. Our kids need to get stronger before they can get faster.  Mon/Wed/Fri are our strength days and Tues/Thur are speed and agility workouts. We will do testing periodically throughout the summer to track our progress. This is not a "run 'em 'till they puke" conditioning session. The focus is on functional strength and athletic movement. The workouts are challenging but the kids have a lot of fun as well. This is a program that I have developed throughout my 15 years as a middle and elementary school P.E. teacher/football coach, and training young athletes over the past 3 summers. The program is not specific to any one sport. It is intended to build general athleticism for young athletes.
